Reality Check

  • Claim:

Be Safe with SeaTalkie - Increase the chances of getting help

  • Reality:

With a working communication device that can stand the impact of water, increasing the chances of getting help is a possibility.

  • Claim:

Keep connecting with your kids at crowded beaches

  • Reality:

Again, if the communication works and the kids are trained on how to use the device, this is a possibility.

  • Claim:

    Connecting teammates in water sports

  • Reality:

Same dependence on functioning communication device that can stand the impact of water.

  • Claim:

Compatibility - Thus SeaTalkie can connect to other walkie talkies.

  • Reality:

Using the same radio bands would allow the SeaTalkie to communicate properly with other makes of walkie talkies.

Something To Think About

If the SeaTalkie can communicate with other devices that are also waterproof, then the uniqueness of this product should be considered.

  • Claim:

    Innovative Accessories

  • Reality:

The thought and creativity behind the accessories caters well to the water sport industry.

Bottom Line

SeaTalkie is an idea that already exists through waterproof walkie talkies that are readily available for purchase already. The thought put into the simplistic design and ease of use is where the advantage potentially hides for the SeaTalkie. With the accessories designed for it and the ability for a child to operate the device simply, this product can focus on a very specific audience, children at the beach and water sports. SeaTalkie has created a previous campaign and then canceled it without any explanation, it had not raised the needed funds yet when canceled.
