Even before they were exploding, existing hoverboards didn’t satisfy our need for a premium, self-balancing scooter that was fun to ride. We designed MOOV from the ground up with the priority of buying safe and reliable parts from America. We’re proud to say that our product is designed and hand-built here in the USA. We control every aspect of product quality to ensure the highest level of safety and reliability. Our engineers inspect and test every battery and board that leaves our facility in Dallas. Starting with UL Certification, the MOOV will be fully compliant and tested to the highest hoverboard standard, UL2272, as well as the Department of Transportation’s battery-specific standard, UN38.3. So you can rest easy that this board is safe, reliable, and most of all fun.

At a weight of 24 lbs, the Moov is substantially heavier than the advertisement portrays. This is the equivalent of carrying around two bowling balls to compare. Consider if the 24 lbs can be considered portable for you as you decide to back this project.
The Radical Moov team has intentionally designed their hoverboard with a focus on quality. From the custom drive system to the individually tested batteries the Moov is built with an aluminum chassis that is hand crafted with a minimalistic style.
The added function of customization will be a welcomed feature by the end user. Custom settings range widely while adding a familiar element that gamers and other techies can easily recognize.
Batteries are the main thing in question when it comes to hoverboards. Moov is individually testing the batteries that are used in their hoverboards, which are UL 1642 certified. The board is also engineered to monitor itself to prevent any critical failures and adds to the ability for the board to assist in stepping on and off.
Radical MOOV has a wide array of foundational elements that set this project up for a high level of success. The difficulty is stepping into a market that has been negatively affected by exploding batteries and unsafe features.
