Jack has created similar projects including a previous DUO model. The campaigns have been successful and straightforward. The DUO travel offers a solution to program while "on-the-go."
Something To Think About
Take note of the different pledge levels to make sure you are aware of which version you are getting. One requires soldering your own components and another delivers the product ready to go.
The DUO Travel features a 16 by 2 character LCD, a 14 button keypad, an ATMega328, and 32 KB of EEPROM for program storage. The ATMega328 contains 32 KB of flash for firmware storage and 2 KB of SRAM.
Using basic components for design, the DUO Travel has a clear layout of the aforementioned components that can function as claimed.
The DUO Travel comes with a simplistic design, basic components, and opportunity for programming "on-the-go." With a successful campaign and fulfillment of the campaign from the past, Jack Esienmann has created a great project to potentially satisfy the hobbyist need for programming anywhere.
