Ease and Comfort
Compared to the swim/diving fin tech that has previously existed, Aquabionic introduces a simply effective method of conquering the cumbersome and awkward interaction of swimmer and fin. Three moving parts keep the set up simple as well as the transition from walking to swimming.
Reinvention of the wheel is not necessary here in the realm of propulsion. Minimal, yet stylistic, design is apparent with the Aquabionic fin system. Propulsion will be effective from the get go with the ability to choose the different style of fin required for appropriate activity.
The saturation of the swimming/diving fin market and its traditional, sometimes dated, designs sets up the style of the Aquabionic Fin System for success. The boots themselves are intricately designed for comfort, while the fins themselves make a statement with the wire design and unique style.
Perfect fit is a general statement that can be interpreted in several different ways. In regards to the fit of the binding from fin to boot, the fit is well designed and should fit accurately. However, this design is subject to wear and tear in the way of stretching and presure over time. For the fit of the boot, the sizes are limited and need to satisfy wide feet, narrow feet, and uneven feet. Fit can vary wildly, and may take time to perfect for a new to market shoe company.
The Aquabionic Fin System successfully reinvents the design and function elements of the diving fin while maintaining all the working parts of an already exisitng market. Interchangeable design sets the precedent for mobility in ways not previously possible. Minimal style will be appreciated by any swimmer and diver who is used to the generally archaic style that previously existed. Wear and tear will be something to consider, as well as the fit for each different foot. However, with the interchangeable design, Aquabionic fins have the ability to stay updated, functional, and relevant.
